The Humane Society of Shenandoah County is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the health, safety, welfare, compassionate care and protection of animals in Shenandoah County through education and community outreach.

Provides pet food assistance to families throughout the county as funds and volunteers allow.
Educates Shenandoah County citizens on proper pet care.
Provides veterinary financial assistance on a case-by-case basis.
Coordinates an aggressive spay and neuter program to reduce the county's pet overpopulation.
